I worked long and hard on this one. It measures 7″x9″ (18cm x 23cm). I carved the image into a block of maple… very hard wood, but I always get a reliable result. I haven’t found a quality plywood yet that won’t chip away. I found a beautiful handmade Japanese paper called Goyu. It works for me because it can handle a great deal of rubbing. The ink is Daniel Smith’s water-based black. Amazing ink! I call this one Windowsill Nude. I love the mystique of it. It is for sale HERE.
